In religious teachings, death is human’s double. Death and life are both created by God as a tool to test humans’ deeds. Quran considers thinking about death as a context to understand the greatness and power of God as well as a background to the eternal bliss. Imam Ali’s (as) conduct and sermon are taken into account as an obvious example of a man who thinks about death with educational approach. In this study, reviewing the concept of death, the effects of thinking about death like anti-negligence and information provision, worldliness regulation, time management, and etc. are presented. The result of thinking about death phenomenon is achieving the consequences such as signifying to human life, injecting the movement element to it, appreciating life chance, increasing tolerance against adversities, committing moral norms, reducing corruption and crimes, and existing the relationship between death remembrance and its effects
