Abstract
One of the doubts raised regarding the moral propositions of the verses of the Holy Quran is the problem of disorder and dispersion, such that it is not possible to draw a coherent model from them for designing a moral system. This issue is particularly relevant in relation to Surah Luqman, which is full of moral teachings, and for this reason, commentators have tried to propose a model for the moral issues expressed in this Surah from their own perspective. In this research, using the content analysis method as an interdisciplinary and text-based research method, an attempt has been made to collect and count the moral propositions of this Surah based on interpretations, and finally, their basic and organizing themes have been discovered. The results of the research show that from the 34 verses of Surah Luqman, 175 moral propositions have been extracted, which, after being categorized, can be cited as 108 basic and main moral themes. In the next stages of implementing the content analysis method, the basic themes are classified into two individual and social orientations, separated under the four pillars of each ethical system, including: principles and foundations, premises, requirements, and obstacles, and form the model of the individual and social ethical system based on Surah Luqman.
