Because emotions have a lot of effects on behaviors, emotional education is very important. But the issue of research is that today the ideas of Islam and in particular, Nahj al-Balagha for the education of affections are nowhere near the teachings of other educational schools. So in this research, the descriptive-analytical method, principles and methods of emotional education with emphasis on the viewpoint of Imam Ali (AS) has been studied. The research tool is Fischer and the data are analyzed qualitatively. The purpose of this research is to provide principles and methods for practicing educators in order to inspire the high ideas of Nahj al- Balagha to educate students. The findings of the study are seven educational principles and sixteen educational methods. The results of the research show that in Nahj al-Balaghah the emotional education of the neglected people and guidelines for the development of educators and parents in this educational field has been introduced.
