Abstract

The prayer of Makarem al-Akhlaq is one of the moral and educational prayers narrated by Imam Sajjad (AS). This prayer, in addition to the sublime teachings, also has a coherent linguistic structure. Since the theory of speech act is an important aspect of the pragmatics of language and as a link between abstract theories of linguistics and objective reality. Therefore, the analysis speech act of this prayer as a glorious religious text reveals its invisible and various moral and educational dimensions. This research with descriptive-analytical method and based on John Searle's theory of speech act reached the results that among the five speech actions, »Directives act «, » Representatives act «, »Expressives act «and »commitment« speech actions with a specific purpose in shaping They play a role in the style of prayer. The act of »Directives act « that forms the main structure of prayer is in the form of requests to achieve the desired situation. Directives act that are combined in phrases with » Expressives act « or» Representatives act « actions in human individual and social education, is like a model based on human dignity.
